Terms and Conditions
Definitions:"The client(s)" shall refer to those individuals identified in the booking form. In these terms and conditions, "the photographer" means Elton Cilliers trading as The Touring Eye. Agreement: By engaging with The Touring Eye, you acknowledge and agree that the following terms constitute an integral part of the contract. Any variations to these conditions must be explicitly approved in writing by the photographer. Copyright: All photographic images' copyright remains with Elton Cilliers trading as The Touring Eye.
Image Use for Marketing
You may be invited to give consent for your image(s) to be used in promotional materials such as exhibitions, online galleries, social media, or printed marketing.
This consent is entirely optional and does not affect your booking or the quality of your session. No identifiable images will be used without your explicit permission.
Data Protection
Any identifiable image, including detailed iris photographs, may be considered personal data under UK GDPR. These will only be used for marketing or shared publicly if you have provided separate, explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us directly.
Payment Policy
Photoshoot Fee:
Full payment is due at time of booking either by cash or card
Refunds:
Event cancellations
Should the event have to be cancelled for reasons out of our control, full refunds will be provided within 3 working days of the event cancellation notification. Where possible, a 2nd date will be offered if a venue can be sourced.
Changing ticket times
Please note that ticket times cannot be changed once purchased. The ticketing system used simply doesn't allow for reassigning tickets do different time slots. Please ensure you check with everyone you intend to bring with you to your session that they are available for the time slot booked prior to booking as refunds will not be given for planning issues.
Flash warning:
Flash photography is used for iris macro images so not recommended for individuals sensitive to flashing lights.
Children:
Recommended for children 6 years and older. Photography for younger children is possible but not guaranteed. No refunds will be provided if your child is not cooperative. Parents please be advised this photography requires both the head and the eyes to be absolute still for 5 - 10 seconds at a time, possibly several times over 3 - 4 minutes.
Pricing Changes:
Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice. Digital Files:
Clients are responsible for safekeeping and duplicating purchased digital files. Additional digital image requests incur extra charges.
Data Retention:
The photographer will retain images for a minimum of 1 year..
